In collaboration with Vicinity Centres, Zinc played a pivotal role in transforming shopping experiences across 50 centers through the dynamic Monopoly Shop Scan Win Promotion. Leveraging our expertise in consumer promotions, third-party licensing, and digital activation, we spearheaded the creation of a gamified shopping adventure, securing promotional rights to Hasbro's iconic Monopoly board game.

In Year 1, our primary objective was clear: rebuild consumer and retailer confidence post-pandemic, rejuvenate foot traffic in physical retail spaces, and reward loyalty and spending. Following the success of Year 1, we elevated the web-app game mechanics in Year 2, introducing real-time 'Instant Wins' and a 'Mega Monopoly Weekend' filled with enhanced gameplay and exclusive retailer offers. This strategic evolution not only heightened the thrill of the game but also increased engagement.

Within my role in the Monopoly Shop Scan Win promotion, I took charge of crafting the user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) based on the designs provided by Vicinity Centres' partner. My aim was to go beyond aesthetics and seamlessly integrate engaging elements into the platform. I carefully designed the user journey to be not just visually appealing but also interactive and user-friendly, meeting functional requirements while adding a layer of excitement and engagement. This approach aligned perfectly with the dynamic and gamified nature of the Monopoly Shop Scan Win Promotion.
